A New Generation of Compatible Toner Cartridges and Savings

January 11th, 2010

As an exclusive user of Compatible Toner Cartridges for twenty years, there have been a lot of changes in the toner cartridge market. Today, the estimated market for toner cartridges is about twenty billion dollars a year. There is no question that you can save on your toner cartridges. However, before you jump in and purchase a toner cartridge, you would be wise to do a little homework. An informed choice can save you a lot of headaches.

When companies first began selling compatible toner cartridges, these cartridges were primarily recycled toner cartridges. They were referred to as “drill and fill” toner cartridges. What these companies did was take an old discarded toner cartridge and drill a hole in it. Then, they simply poured in new toner, plugged up the hole and offered the consumer this great deal on a compatible cartridge.

Many times these drill and fill toner cartridges produced poor quality print and fewer printed pages. The other problem with these type toner cartridges was the inconsistency between cartridges. One toner cartridge printed much better than another toner cartridge, even though both cartridges were processed identically.

Today, the technology has vastly changed and improved. There are many reputable printer companies producing compatible toner cartridges. The technology they use is as good as the technology used by major printer manufacturers. These reputable toner companies use all new parts. Many of the components they use are identical to those specified by the original equipment manufacturer. For example, they use the same types of toner, drums, rollers, etc.

Know What Toner Cartridge You Are Buying

The problem today is that a compatible toner cartridge sometimes has a dual meaning. When some companies use the term compatible toner cartridge, they are really talking about “remanufactured” toner cartridges. Other company’s use the term compatible toner cartridge to refer to a “new” toner cartridge manufactured by a third party toner company. Both types of cartridges could be a good buy.

Learn About the Toner Company

All toner companies are not the same. Both the remanufactured and the new compatible toner cartridges offer the consumer significant cost savings.

A reputable toner company will use a quality control testing process for remanufactured toner cartridges. This means they do more than simply empty the old toner and replace the cartridge with new toner. They will check the toner cartridges for quality of printing. They double-check the toner parts for wear and tear. When a problem is spotted, the cartridge part in question is replaced.

A reputable toner company that produces new compatible toner cartridges will also have a quality control program in place. What matters most is the long-term quality and quantity of print. The consumer dictates this. The toner cartridge user must be satisfied with both the first page printed as well as the last.

Even though you do a massive amount of research, you may never truly know all you’d like to about a toner company. However, you can learn exactly what type of compatible toner cartridge you are purchasing.

You should know at least ten things about a company before your purchase a toner cartridge online. Visit our website and review our special section “Purchasing Compatible Toner Cartridges Online”.

One important key to identifying a quality toner company is to study their toner warranty and money back guarantee. A quality company will stand behind their toner cartridges. If a company does not offer a one-year warranty and money back guarantee, keep looking.

Today you can get a quality compatible toner cartridge at significant savings. Do your homework. Visit several online sites. Look up your exact toner cartridge. Find out the exact type of toner cartridge they sell. Study their warranty. If possible, talk with someone that has purchased toner cartridges from the company. When you make an informed decision, you’ll find that a compatible toner cartridge can significantly reduce your printing cost without sacrificing quality or quantity.

Windscreen Replacement Services

October 31st, 2009

Replacing or fixing a broken windscreen can be one of the easiest, or one of the most intimidating, experiences that you can have as a vehicle owner depending on the approach that you take. Windscreen replacement is not for the faint hearted; it involves strength, a pair of stable hands, and a willingness to follow instructions cautiously.

Every vehicle is unique, most frequently, removing a windshield involves loosening the urethane that supports it in place, then lifting it out its position with caution. Next, using the a utility knife the remaining urethane must be cleared away to make room for the new windscreen. It is then glued in place with the added security of bolts to keep it in position. When replacing a windscreen, it is extremely important to make sure that the new urethane seal is put in place the right way, because any outflows can cause wind to get into the vehicle, totally ruining the experience of driving.

If you discover a chip on the windshield, it may be possible to repair it. Windscreen repair is a considerably easier procedure. Every auto parts store these days have repair kits, and involves sealing off the chip with resin. The resin dries clear, and once the process is finished, it is almost impossible to distinguish that the windshield was ever damaged. Windshield repair kits can be unreliable when used to restore large cracks, however, and can sometimes make the problem worse, requiring a replacement. This job is often better left to professionals.

If you decide to let a professional handle your windshield repair or replacement, you may be delighted to find that very often you do not need to bring your car to the garage. Many repair companies offer mobile services, which can be completed in a matter of an hour or less, even if the windscreen requires to be replaced entirely. Mobile windscreen repair services are able to perform the service at the comfort of your own home, or while you are at work, making the process an extremely convenient one.

What type of asset labels do I need to buy for my school, office, company or college?

May 7th, 2009

Asset Label Types
We have split asset labels into different categories and will explain their strengths and suitability and their applications.

1) Permanent frangible vinyl asset labels
2) Silver Voiding asset labels

1) Permanent Frangible Vinyl Asset Label
This label is suitable for most applications. These labels are much higher quality asset labels than the paper version and are more common in the field. The label material will conform to the majority of surfaces and forms a high-strength bond. This material has excellent initial grab and quite often (after initial application) will provide a good adhesion to many surfaces (when clean). The maximum strength of this label is attained within a 4 hour + period where the glue on the label hardens and makes the label impossible to remove in one piece

This is good for marking workstations, casings, monitors and smaller items. The grain on the computer plastics can be tricky to adhere to with certain asset labels, but the vinyl labels are very effective for this application. The material is also suited to varnished and smooth surfaces. These labels can be personalized with Code 39 barcodes, serial numbers and often with the logo printed too. Some companies offer further protection with a hologram label included to prevent counterfeiting. The vinyl labels are usually supplied on reels and most companies offer a turnaround within 33 to 5 days however some companies offer 24hr / next day service.

These are great for Hospitals, Schools, IT Department & Offices as when the adhesive sets it becomes very strong prevents people or children removing the labels in one piece.
This vinyl asset label material is suitable in many different applications such as:-

PC & IT Equipment, Monitors and LCD displays, Laptop Computers, Keyboards, Mice, Mobile Equipment including PDA’s, Networking Equipment, Fileservers, Hard Drives, Printed Circuit Boards, Painted Metal Surfaces, Wood, Plastics, Glass, Metals, Paper Surfaces, etc.

2) Silver Voiding Asset Label
This substrate is used primarily in situations where tampering needs to be revealed. The construction of the material utilises a two stage adhesive. The label will grab very well and on any attempt of removal, will leave the words VOID on the label and on the material it is stuck to. Even if you try to replace the label by sticking it down in the same position it is still apparent that tampering has taken effect.

This material is used in many different applications such as:-

Covering Memory & Expansion covers on IT Equipment, Sealing Paper, Card & Plastic surfaces, Calibration Seals, Sealing Postage Bags, Medicine Boxes and Cartons, Electronic Enclosure Boxes, HiFi & Stereo Units, Computer Cases, Mobile Telephones, PDA’s, Sealing Doors, NHS & Medical Equipment, Oscilloscopes, etc.

Mobile Video for your Car Makes Sense Considering the Traffic These Days?

March 9th, 2009

Mobile Video Prices are coming down big time and it makes sense to score your self a new complete system for your car or SUV. The competition is getting hot and now is the time to grab one. Many people who have these video systems no longer complain when they are in the back seat stuck in traffic. Kids are actually a joy to travel with and all these systems are available and installable and some as low as $499 plus installation.

Have you considered a new Mobile Video System for your car? There are about ten very well known brand names and of course some pretty convincing looking Chinese knock-off or pirated patented products slipping into the market as well.

You have sent the seat head rest models and many of these require such little amount or installation that you can be in and out in around an hour or so? I see people lined up to install these at radio shops and having been in the aftermarket auto business on the auto detailing side for some 20 plus years, I wonder why more people are not lined up?

Perhaps it is a trade off with folks as the fuel prices keep going up and seem to be cutting into their expensive taste for toys and accessories. Yet, with the prices coming down, that does not make sense either and I assume people just do not know; so, I thought I might tell you personally. Consider all this in 2006.

Knowing the Verizon Cell Phone Test

January 15th, 2009

Verizon wireless is known to boast the most reliable wireless network in the States. Verizon wireless and data customers number over forty five million people and naturally this number is destined to grow. That’s why the company backs up its reliability claim by investing over four billion dollars in expanding and improving its service every year.

Changes to the network makeup since the early days of cellular, before Verizon cell phone service went by that name, have turned it into a fully digital system. For them the word ‘cellular’ only exists as a pop culture expression. Being fully digital Verizon cell phone clients were amongst the first in the nation able to perform now common place tasks such as sending text messages, swapping pictures and downloading ring tones.

Verizon cell phone customers, as it turns out, use these features a lot. They send over twenty million pictures wirelessly every month to each other and to people on other networks. They are also responsible for the downloading over of fifty million games, ring tones and applications since April 2005. This is accomplished hrough the company’s twenty three thousand cell sites and over a hundred and fifty switching facilities on a network that can reach two hundred and fifty million Americans.

To claim the best and most reliable service in the country they put themselves through a constant state of testing. In its now famous ad campaign, the Verizon cell phone test man walks the country ensuring his connection is never lost. This commercial was born out of an actual testing process the verizon cell phone network goes through every week of every year.

The company as a whole employs fifty two thousand employees. The little known fact is that some of those employees are real life test men and test women who do just what the guy in the commercials does. They travel in a specially equipped van with cell phones, making and receiving calls and checking to see if the connection cuts and, if so, for how long. Verizon is so proud of their ongoing quality checks and measurements that an entire section of their corporate web site is dedicated to honoring the actual workers who travel the country performing these tests.

An average testing van can travel over three thousand miles in a given month. Their tests are simultaneously conducted all across the country in a program that collectively travels a hundred thousand miles a month on the nation’s most frequented roadways. All the while their testers make well over three hundred thousand test calls.

Their claims of having the best network is calculated by considering the number of calls that were lost or couldn’t go through compared the those that succeeded without problems. In the end they have proven time and again that the Verizon cell phone network is easily the most trust worthy network around.

Window-Dressing: How to Make Your Own Wallpaper

January 10th, 2009

Gone are the days of limited mobile phone customisation, when all the possible modifications come with the cellular phone package as it is bought, or have to be bought separately at the store. Aside from the many stylish accessories out in the market, such as cellular phone covers, casings, and straps, you can also make use of ring tones, screensavers, and wallpapers to personalise your phone’s interface. Due to the increased connectivity and additional functions of newer models, it is quite easy to make your cellular phone screen appear just the way you like it.

Nowadays, your cell phone wallpaper can match your every mood. To personalise the look of your phone screen, the wallpaper in particular, you can choose between the files already provided in your cellular phone, and the many phone wallpaper size photos found on different Internet sites. One such site is www.ringtones.lt, where you can find wallpapers of popularanimation characters, celebrities, sports cars, athletes, movie stills, and more. Of course, you can also make your own, and it should not cost a lot. After all, it’s the best way to guarantee that your mobile looks as different as can be.

Ready to make your own customised wallpaper? Here’s how:

If your cellular phone is equipped with a camera, the pictures taken with it are often ready to use as wallpapers. Therefore, the most up-to-date wallpaper is merely a click away. Take pictures with itlots of pictures! Not only will it provide you with a wide selection of wallpaper images, the practice will also help develop an artistic flair in you. This way, you will be able to take better pictures and find better subjects to take pictures of, whether or not you have had training in photography. You can also make sure of it by finding simple photography tips from online sites and forums, and applying a certain style that you find interesting.

You can keep the photo wallpapers interesting by using the pictures you took during rare trips or a vacation in a faraway land. Some exciting subjects are festivals, odd-looking animals, extreme games stunts, and maybe your first hot-air balloon ride. On the other hand, you need not look farther than your very own backyard to be able to take worthy photos. Some examples are pets, the sunrise or sunset as it is seen through your window, portraits of your loved ones, a flower blooming in your garden, and your favorite food served on a decorative plate. Meanwhile, for the most unique wallpaper, you can just go ahead and take pictures of yourself.

For those who are more skilled in design and the use of design software, you may also try drawing your own wallpaper using your computer. Be sure to check the image size and type of file that is compatible with your unit. You can then upload it to your mobile phone using Blue Tooth or a USB connection.

While your phone screen is quite small, remember that there are no limits to the modifications you can do. All you need to do is imagine, then create the picture.

Ringtones.lt is a site specialising in the different genres of ringtones,
cell phone wallpapers and cell phone screensavers.

Remote Access Services

January 9th, 2009

With the surge in popularity of the Internet, Remote Access Services (RAS) have become widely popular in the IT environment. RAS let you connect to your computer from a remote location, such as your home, to the SLAC network. RAS’s primary function is to let you access files on a server from a remote location. In order to use RAS from a remote location, a RAS client program is required, which is usually built into the most versions of the Windows or PPP client software.

RAS is a built-in feature of Windows NT that enables the users to log in to an NT-based LAN environment using a modem, X.25 connection or WAN link. RAS works with almost all the major network protocols, including TCP/IP, IPX, and Netbeui.

RAS lets a user dial into any network and use any dialup connection just as if it were a network connection. Though it has its own set of disadvantages, like being slower in comparison to a regular network connection.

Once connected to the RAS, you need to follow the usual procedures to access the network. For example, of you want to connect to a drive on the network, use Windows NT 4.0’s My Computer icon from your remote computer, with the map network drive, or explore the network neighborhood, just as if you would explore it from your office PC.

In order to run a program available on the host computer, download and run the executable code on your remote computer. RAS works just like any other network connection, not as a remote control.

Remote Access provides detailed information about remote access, remote PC access, secure remote access, remote internet access and more. Remote Access is the sister site of FTP Site Hosting.
